Keeping your leisure vehicle in good working order is paramount for the safety of you and your fellow travellers, and for the success of your adventures. We recommend a full service every year, or an interim service for those who haven’t done a lot of miles but still want peace of mind.

At Blue Sky we offer a full and interim service package. We can also carry out a wide range of repairs (damp, gas, electrical & heating system) as well as to your vehicle’s fixtures, fittings and accessories, and can fit new too, so don’t hesitate to ask for anything you’ve been thinking of adding to your leisure vehicle.

Interim Service

just £180 incl. VAT

An interim service is less comprehensive than the full service but covers the key working parts of your vehicle and its engine:

IN THE CAB

Check instruments, gauges, warning lights • Check horn • Check windscreen wipers • Check Adblue / Eolys warning light • Check interior lights • Check clutch operation (manual only) • Check seat belts • Reset service light • Check engine diagnostic codes

VEHICLE EXTERIOR

Check exterior lights & lamps • Check doors – operation and condition • Check boot – operation and condition • Check fuel cap – operation and condition

PRE-ALIGNMENT CHECK

Check steering, suspension linkages and ball joints for wear, damage and condition • Suspension – check shock absorbers and springs • Full tyre inspection (tread, pressure and alignment check) • TPMS inspection

UNDER THE BONNET

Check battery • Check battery wiring • Test electrics (battery, alternator, starter motor) • Check coolant level (strength and condition) • Check brake fluid (boiling point and condition) • Check bonnet catch operation • Check brake pipes & hoses

UNDER THE VEHICLE

Visual brake check

SERVICE ITEM REPLACEMENT

Replace engine oil and filter • Top up windscreen washer fluid

FINAL CHECKS

Vehicle road test • Stamp service book

MOT (optional)

SERVICE ITEM REPLACEMENT

Replace engine oil and filter • Top up windscreen washer fluid • Replace fuel filter (diesel vehicles) • Replace air filter

I can't rate Matthew at Blue Sky Leisure Services highly enough. I took in my Hymer that had a serious damp issue. Matthew quickly located where the water had been coming in and gave me a quote to put it right, which was almost £400 cheaper than I had been quoted by another local company. I have to say the quality of his work was excellent. I couldn't tell there had been any repair at all. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Vehicle Service & MOT

Save Time & Money

Leave your Motorhome with us and we will carry out the annual or interim service and arrange the MOT for the same day.

Mobile Service

If you need us, or would simply prefer us to come to you we can offer a basic or full habitation check, servicing and damp repairs, as well as any appliance or accessory fixing, testing, replacing and fitting from our mobile unit. The only mobile service we can't offer is vehicle MOTs and engine servicing.

We will come to you at your home, storage facility or on site, travelling up to 40 miles from our Ringwood unit. Our callout charge is just £10 within 10 miles, increasing by £10 for every extra 10 miles away from base.
